We are starting a foundation to benefit the farm workers of the region and their families. These men, women, and children are the heartbeat of the region; they make it all possible. Fundación Para Los Braceros will work to improve the lives of these families, providing shoes, clothing, and blankets, as well as helping to improve living conditions and introducing vocational education for the children.

General Admission: $75.00 before October 15 ($85.00 beginning October 16)

Includes food, live music and other entertainment, dancing, and two free drink tickets (one for wine, one for beer or non-alcoholic beverages)

Additional Drink Tickets:

Wine: $8.00 each or 3 for $20.00

Join Finca Altozano & chef Javier Plascencia on what will be an unforgettable afternoon in Valle de Guadalupe. We are honored to be hosting two great ladies:

  • Nancy Silverton, co-owner of Mozza Restaurant Group & founder of La Brea Bakery. She has worked with some of the nation´s most notable chefs and has served as a menotr to numerous chefs who have gone on to become award-winning chefs and restaurant owners themselves.
  • Carolynn Carreño, Tijuana-born writer whose essays and feature stories have been published in the New York Times Magazine, Saveur, Gourmet, Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, The Los Angeles Times and The Los Angeles Times Magazine. She is also a three-time James Beard nominee and the winner of the James Beard Best Writing for Newspaper Award.
